The Hues of A/W 2013

Welcome to my favorite colour in the entire world!! This colour dominates over half of my wardrobe and is present in most of my lipsticks. I am so happy 'OXBLOOD' is taking over this season! The only reason I look forward to winter is these beautiful colours, they remind me of being cozy by the fire with a glass of red wine. I have gathered a collection of photos for you to show the different ways of wearing such a bold lip!

A lot of my makeup inspiration comes from fashion magazines which are flooded with adverts of the latest seasons trends. The new Elle magazine came out on Wednesday and you must purchase it - not just because they have kindly inserted a 25% of River Island card - because Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is stunningly bracing the front cover, sporting the trendy bold lip in a futuristic look. 

This season, makeup artists translated that cozy, sultry, irresistible feeling to lips, starting with a Cabernet stain at Louis Vuitton. (above)

One thing people seem to ask me a lot is what colour eye shadow do you pair with such a bold lip colour. Here is a perfect example, her naturally contoured eyes add structure, but are subtle enough for the bold lip colour to take centre stage. Below are more examples straight from the catwalks.
